Islamabad, September 1, 2025 – The Alpine Club of Pakistan has received a touching letter of condolence from Ms. Asma bint Thani Al-Thani, Marketing and International Cooperation Sector Director at the Qatar Olympic Committee, in the wake of the devastating floods that have severely affected communities across Pakistan.

In her message to Maj Gen Irfan Arshad HI(M), President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, Ms. Al-Thani conveyed her heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families. She commended the resilience and courage of the Pakistani people and reaffirmed that the Qatar Olympic Committee stands in solidarity and compassion with Pakistan during this difficult time.

Responding to the message, Maj Gen Irfan Arshad HI(M) expressed gratitude to Ms. Al-Thani and the Qatar Olympic Committee for their support.
